Expression of Cytokines and Cytokine Receptors-Genes in Patients with Different Forms of Thyroid Pathology in Ukrainian Population

Abstract Multiple susceptibility genes can be involved in the development of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Some these are implicated other autoimmune diseases, while others specific to thyroid response. 153 patients with pathology were enrolled study (152 women and 1 man, average age was 46,02±14,3). They divided into 3 groups: 16 postoperative hypothyroidism; 65 hypothyroidism resulting from thyroiditis, 72 both AIT elevated serum an anti-thyroglobulin anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies. We used a pathway-specific real-time Polymerase chain reaction array identify verify cytokines receptor pathway-associated gene expression peripheral white blood cells randomly selected 12 individuals each group. In those Chemokine (C-X3-C motif) 1, (C-X-C 4, Interleukin 6, 6 significantly decreased, IL6ST IL10RA increased. contrast, mRNA levels (C-XC increased thyroiditis antibodies, signal transducer 10 receptor, alpha decreased this group patients. The antibodies had lowered 10, beta type I elevated. affect mRNA-level cytokine gene-specific manner, changes among triggers inflammation progression gland. Transcriptional activity cytokines, inducer, as important minimally invasive prognostic marker disease severity.
